As the people in the famous Kampung Kacang putih introduced these savory snacks to Malaysians in 1923. S.R Ipoh boasts of an unparalleled heritage. It all began with Chinnasami Nadar, the pioneer of Kacang putih pedding on foot – from walking and carrying the assortment of snacks on a wooden tray on the head, eventually progressing to bicycle, motorcycle, and finally van.
