RFM Global Cooperation Sendirian Berhad was established in 2010. Our first product was pickled fruits. Our aim was to develop and produce pickled fruits that are safe and clean for regular consumption while retaining their nutritional value.
We believe that everyone should be able to enjoy rich, delicious food without sacrificing taste or quality. We have always been passionate about terung asam. Native to Sarawak, it grows wild in the tropical forests of Sarawak and is available all year round. It is a staple ingredient in Sarawakian cuisine.
The unripe fruits are green and turn yellow or orange when ripe. The ripe fruit is often used as a vegetable and is a versatile ingredient that can be used in both sweet and savoury dishes – but it is also a rare delicacy.
Because of its uniqueness, RFM global corporations have decided to process and market Terung Assam products such as halwa, dried, jam and sauce; to share our love for Terung Assam with all walks of life. As demand continues to grow, we are keen to expand beyond borders to offer Sarawak’s Signature Flavour to the world.
