Have finally used this asam pedas paste and it was really good! Made asam pedas salmon with it and used a tablespoon of the paste (as hubby can't take anything too spicy). Glad to say he really liked the sauce!
Love this paste. All I added was beef, paste, 1 cup coconut milk and one tablespoon chilli flakes. First I bought 1 pack and then came back for another 4.
Taste and flavour of the tarts were ok, however package/delivery arrived in terrible condition and the contents were mostly crushed and in crumbs, probably due to being thrown around in the warehouse or transit. Completely unpresentable and unsuitable for gifting to others.
