Kelulut (Stingless bee) honey has a distinctive “bush” taste, a mix of sweet and sour with a hint of fruit. The taste comes from plant resins which the bees use to build their hives and honey pots. It varies at different times of the year depending on the flowers and trees visited.
Tualang Honey (Apis Dorsata) is a wild, pure honey from the Malaysian rainforest. It is harvested from honey bee combs hung from the Tualang tree. It is 100% organic honey, free from chemicals like pesticides or fertilizers and without added preservatives. Tualang Honey is bright golden brown. It tastes sweet and is loved by even children. The longer this honey is kept (as the honey matures), the colour will turn darker and the taste will become slightly sourish sweet with a hint of bitterness.
