Instant Halal Tempura mix is great for making delicious crispy tempura dishes and authentic Japanese tempura recipes. Suitable for all types of vegetables and shrimp. Honey, soy and sesame dipping sauce

Ingredients:

  • 2 red chillies (2 red chillies deseeded, washed and chopped finely)
  • 1 bird’s eye chilli (washed and cut inyo thin rings with the seed)
  • 2 garlic cloves (peeled, washed and minced finely)
  • ½ piece ginger (skin removed and grated finely)
  • 1 cup soy sauce
  • 2 to 3 teaspoon toasted sesame seed
  • 3 tablespoons brown sugar (add more if needed)

Method:

  1. Take a big bowl and drop in the brown sugar
  2. Add In the soy sauce and mix thoroughly until the sugar dissolves
  3. Add in the finely chopped garlic and grated ginger. Give a good mix
  4. Add in the finely chopped chilies and the bird’s eye chilli
  5. Do a taste test to see if any adjustments need to be done
  6. Finally sprinkle the toasted sesame seeds and give a good mix
  7. Refrigerate this dipping sauce until the tempuras are fried
  8. Serve the tempura immediately with the cold dipping sauce
  9. The cold and hot combination is sure to please your taste buds
